PRELUDE TO SINULOG 2012

After the Christmas season, Cebu will celebrate its most popular religious activity right after the start of the new year.  The uptown area, particularly the Fuente Osmena circle and that place occupied by PENSHOPPE where the statue of the Sto. Nino has already been put into place, has become a favorite spot to pose for some souvenirs..

PUNTA CRUZ WATCH TOWER

It served as a fortification against Muslim pirates and was built in honor of the patron saint of the town, St. Vincent Ferrer, of which a statue is found in the inside of the tower. A big cross stands in front of the tower that serves as a silent sentinel guarding the entrance of the bay......"
