SUNDOWN IN BAROBO

BAROBO... when darkness falls
These were the photos I took as I witnessed darkness as it covered Barobo, a sleepy seaside town in Surigao del Sur.  This was where we made our last glimpse of the sun as it disappeared into the horizon.

LICANTO FAMILY BEACH RESORT

Licanto Family Beach Resort is located in Barobo, Surigao del Sur. It was one of the beach resorts in south Surigao that we dropped by for sightseeing before we headed back home via San Francisco in Agusan del Sur which is a town away from our base in Prosperidad. It is not the typical beach resort with white sands, yet the place will suffice if you loved the waters and if you longed for privacy and tranquility by the sea.

SINULOG 2012

SINULOG 2O12 Cebu has just witnessed a successful festivity in honor of the Holy Child Jesus on the 3rd Sunday of January 2012. Much have been uploaded on the NET and this is my share of the festivities.  I wasn't able to take much shots because I went to see the street dancing late in the afternoon.

Congratulations to all winners and see us all in the coming Sinulog celebration 2013!

KANSILAD BEACH RESORT

DAY 3: An afternoon in Lianga Bay, Surigao Sur

It was called Surigao del Sur's sanctuary for a restive soul; truly a local slice of paradise.  It was low tide when we arrived on a late Sunday afternoon at the place which is situated in a cove off Lianga Bay. I wasted no time taking pictures of the resort just before darkness covers the beauty of the place.

EXPLORING THE HEART OF AGUSAN- Day 2

THE
RIVER
GIBONG

and the BRIDGE that
crosses over it...

Day 2 took my feet at the very riverbank of GIBONG, a stretch of water that runs through the town of Bahbah in Prosperidad. Though I was really eyeing going to the Binaba Falls somewhere near the source of the river, but a local resident by the riverbank informed me it was not the best time to go upstream. So, I just content myself taking pictures under the bridge and along the side of the river.

EXPLORING THE HEART OF AGUSAN- Day 1

PROSPERIDAD- Southern Agusan

Christmas vacation of 2011 has given me opportunity to visit the sleepy capital town of Agusan del Sur where I used to spend part of my teen life.  It was two years ago since the I last time I visited the place.  I was excited to go back there this time because of my current enthusiasm on photography that I want to take photos of home and the places where we used to spend.
