SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION

DAUIS CHURCH  Dauis, Bohol

The Catholic Church of Dauis is an example of a Neo-Gothic and Neo-Classic architecture, made out of corals and that the present structure was finished in 1879. It was said to have been the place of refuge for the nuns of the Holy Spirit of Tagbilaran during World War II.

This was where I continued my shooting spree as I made my way back to Tagbilaran, a sidetrip into the entrance of the island of Panglao..
